My sister died of a kidney infection at 36 years old. After many years of research, they found out that taking ibuprofen is very bad for kidney infections. They believe this is what killed my sister (that and the fact that she went into the hospital on a Saturday night and no one was going to examine her until Monday (she died early Monday a.m.). She was in excellent health before the kidney infection. TAKE ALL KIDNEY INFECTIONS VERY SERIOUSLY and do watch what medication they give you. They recommended motrin for my sister a few days before she went into the hospital which is ibuprofen.
