I have a bunion on my left foot also but never heard of steroid shots in it but at my age, 88, I don't dance anymore. I DO have low back pain which the top anaesthesiologist at our big hospital, who is head of their pain clinic, gives me steroid shots in that. but will only do it twice a year as steroids delete the calcium in the body and if you are over 55 and have osteoporosis, which nearly all women do, and so do a lot of men, I'd not have them too often.
