Please see specialists, whether it is a foot doctor or one that has lots of experience in bunyons, noot yjust your primary doc. And do NOT take prednisone unless really needed. Though I could not avoid taking it with major health problems, besides the many other side effects, I recently came down with osteonecrosis from the side effect of prednisone. I have talked to several othyers who got this from even just a week on prednisone for small things to medium like ear infectoin, asthma, pain killer, etc. And in just a few months, both of my hips have collapsed from it. And as a dancer you need those legs. I always did gymnastics, and would still be in the darb gym if itt weren't for this! Best wishes, Hana
