MARGO
I had genital warts when I was 16 years old, after 10 years of treatments and agony, the doctor said I had cervical dysplasia -probably from the warts and my pap came back pre-cancerous, so I had my cervix frozen, but after surgery my pap smear was the same - pre-cancerous, so I never went back to the doctor since and I feel better than I ever did while seeing all the doctors and all the treatments. This was in 1991, so don't be disappointed when it really might not change things; at least it didn't for me. As far as having kids, I had a child not too long ago, so it doesn't effect anything like that. If you do go through the surgery, you will have a lot of cramping so be prepared. Good luck in whatever you decide.
