Hi, Read your messg. about total hysterectomy. I had a complete when I was 27 and am how 60. Have been on Premarin ever since. I had endometriosis and a lot of pain and terrible periods. I have never looked back and never regretted having the surgery. I have had all those pain free years. I have never wanted to have children so that wasn't a factor. Doctors never recommend it because if they are usually men, they don't have a clue what we are going through. There weren't as many women doctors when I had mine. However, as I said, I really don't regret it at all. Good luck in whatever you decide.
