Marcia, As you have probably seen on this site the many posts of people in the same situation that are searching for relief from this painful condition. I have suffered since 1995, almost 7 years of daily pain management of this agonizing pain and I have the bursitis in both hips also and I had the right hip operated on twice only to cause more spasms and more pain which has gotten worse because of the scar tissue. You are welcome to email me if you like and I will be glad to discuss what I have tried with you. Recently I have been trying accupuncture and it seems to help some but I still suffer and it doesn't seem to be permanent. I have already had 11 treatments. The weather plays a part in how my pain is also. I do see a pain management dr. and she has tried to help me and at the point you are at you probably need to also because the ortho dr.'s do not want to keep writing out pain medicine if you take it. I do not like taking medicine but when the pain gets to the point where you just cannot do anything and you are miserable all the time, what can you do. Please feel free to write to me.
