Yes Ive had surgery for two herniated disc's, three months apart. The surgery itself(the first One) was not bad. The second one was a disaster, they lost some spinal fluid, then they found out that my problem was not the herniated disc's in the beginnig.I have Stiffman Syndrome, which was causing me to fall uncontrollably.and I might add still is a problem. After the second surgery, my leg went into spasms and I would have rather died right there. Fianally a morphine drip for 2 days got it to stop. The surgery itself, if you are having pain, will not quarantee the end of the pain. That is in the fine writing.I have more back pain now than I did before, because the back pain wasnt the initial problem. Stiffman Syndrome is an autoimmune disease, rare, incurable, and hardly any research beacuse of its supposed to be so rare. But I do know of several cases and keep on hearing of more diagnosis of it. I wish , it would be addressed by more Drs and made more know to all individuals. Therefore I would not have went through two unneccary surgeries.
