Hi, Is the type of Hepitits your daughter has also called C. I was just diognosed with this as well. The Dr. doen't know where I contracted it. Could have gotten it a number of ways. Being a blood disease a person can get it through a transfussion,any medical procedure, working in the heath field. I was a dental assistant for 12 years. Although catching it through sexual relations is unlikely, it can be caught this way as well. Hope this helps. But knowing how I caught it wouldn't change anything. Good luck, and God Bless
