I found out in 2000 that I had a herniated disk at C6-7. I had some cortisone/steroid injections in my neck and back. They didn't seem to help much. I had neck, shoulder, back, arm and hand pain. I put up with it until July 2001 when my right arm started shaking uncontrollably. I had a cervical disectomy on 8-1-01. They took bone from my hip and put in where they took the disk out. I can't lift, push, pull, etc. or drive. You will need help with a 2 yr old. With support from others, keeping your spirits up and help from the good Lord above you can get through it.
