Hi! I wrote in about a surgery that I was extremely nervous about and want to thank everyone for there encouraging words and prayers.After 3 yrs of thinking I was going to have to live with this pain I found a talented confident surgeon who has lead me to a place I have not been for quite some time. I am 2 weeks post-op and though its painful it is NOTHING like it was before surgery, Well.. I can see the light now and am so grateful.My surgery went fine and if anyone is facing the same surgery (anterior Cervical disectomy with fusion)My incision is in the front of my neck, just find a good dr. and your welcome to e-mail me.Believe me I had done the injections, several.. nerve blocks, pain pills, therapy,chiropracter,massage but felt I was covering the pain. My MRI showed my disc herniated 7 mm. into my cord so I was ready to try fixing the problem. I had heard so many horror stories and you rarely here a success story that is why I am sharing mine.
