I would either keep pressing the doctor or find another one. A lot of doctors go by what is in black and white with your blood results. Just because it is a 4 doesn't mean that you don't need meds, I would go to an endocologist, one for thyroid problems. They would know the most about lab tests and how you feel, and if you need meds. Not every one feels good at a 4 or 3 or 5, everyone is different. I have hypothyroid, and I am still tired, etc. so I am looking for a specialist in that field so I can have my meds changed. Good luck
