hi, When I was around your age (13-14) I was in a car accident and was diagnosed with scoliosis, too about six months later (probably not related to the accident though it sure didn't help). I visited a chiropractor for the first time and that seemed to help quite a bit; my physical activities were no longer limited because of it. (now if i could have come up with a solution for the monthly cycle challenges...) I was a swimmer and did gymnastics back then. Some volleyball. Pressure points helped, too, for the muscles to keep the bones in place and massages if done for like deep tissue have helped in recent years (I am 39 now). The chiro might be able to correct that crooked shoulder; it was pretty awesome what he helped me with because he got me after that car crash and I was not in great shape. and my dad had been facing extensive back surgery and it took several visits (gives muscles time to heal up, too) and he was able to go back to work not to mention outside physical activity with back surgery just a memory. So, there is some possibilities there- perhaps for you, too. Fibro is a name given when there is honest pain and no honest source of it (yet). At least they don't say its all in your head anymore...and recommend endless counseling (though that can have its helpful moments, of course). If your back/neck is out of place badly because my husband's shoulder crooks when his back is out badly, it can really impact extensively and could be enough all by itself to cause the pain of the fibro not to mention the extreme fatigue compensating for it all. Depending on the pain perhaps, perhaps not...Insurances will frequently cover chiropractic visits, too. If you try it all and I wouldn't rule out a good accunpurist who specializes in accupressure for muscles, too in dealing with any pain problems etc. Anything more potentially internal like endometriosis or some of the abdominal pains would not be helped so much by these types of treatments but sometimes feeling at all better, gives inspiration to crank out solutions for any other areas of challenge that may show up if this wasn't the full answer you needed. If the pain and fatigue is not helped, I would then check out a pain management clinic (also covered by insurances usually)...I remember how it was to be young and how lousy to have people assume becuase I was a teen, that I must be in the peak of health...take care of yourself
