Hi; i've had 3-4 surgeries to remove them but they always come back, an ultrasound about a month ago, revealed more, and also both ovaries. my doctor put me on birth control pills in the hopes of busting them, i am sick all the time and they hurt so bad. this is the only alternative for me right now, as i am gonna be 44 and next step i will have surgery to remove them, and probably hysterectomy will be the end result. i have what she calls polycystic ovaries where i still ovulated but some of the eggs just don't pop and go away, they just stay and grow. i've been thru this for many years, and the cycts keep coming back upon removal. this month on the pill i never even had a period, she told me to go on and take this months pills, and if no period, she will make me bleed. hope this helps, i know it's no cure all, but it's what's happened with me for years. if u need anything further please feel free to e-mail me, thankx anita
