I am 32 and I to have polycystic ovarian syndrome and have been working successfully with my doctor for over a year. I no longer have to go into the hospital because the cycts burst. He started me on metformin for the insuline resistance that usuaaly goes along with the PCO and this has helped monthly menses and the pain has subsided, not to mention that I have lost 18 pounds to help lower the testosterone that also accompanies PCO. If you would like I can give my doctor's name and number for your doctor to call. Lester Ho, M.D., of the Northern Nevada Medical Group, 775-688-5850. He is currently running a study on PCO and is aware of new methods for treating PCO. Good Luck
