I know from experience they can be very painful. The first thing is not to let them rupture in your body. Seek your OB/GYN attention immediately. Sometimes they can give you medicine by mouth that will help alleviate them altogether but it depends on how large they are in size. Again call your doctor. If you have been taking fertility drugs they can cause cysts on your ovaries by the overproduction of the eggs. Again, seek your doctors advice. Most ovarian cysts must be removed if too large.
