Hi to all bursitis sufferers, I was ammazed at the # of people with hip bursitis. I have been suffering in the right hip since feb. I had an MRI done and it showed some herniated dics and bulging dics too. I had back surgery 13 yrs ago, so this was no surprise. I have tried all the normal treatments including rest, injection prednisone, anti-inflamatories, and physical therapy, none of this has helped. I'm a nurse and stand on my feet 9 hours a day. I have had to cut my hours down to 15/week. I work in a Drs. office. I have had enough of the pain already, it really keeps me from doing anything but work. I have pain that radiates down my right leg all the way to my foot. My calf and sole of my foot get numb after walking to long. Those symptoms make me say nerve problems but the Drs. say it is bursitis. I have requested a mylogram which I hope will answer some questions. I do have many of the symptoms that bursitis patients have. Does anyone else have the leg pain and numbness and cramping, the nurses I work with are getting fed up with my schedule and don't understand the pain the walking causes me, and I don't think the doctors I have seen do either. I have been told to just keep working. I am very frustrated, I feel to youg to be having these problems, I'm 47. Sounds old on paper HA HA. Just looking to see if others have had similar problems.
