I also have been told I have bursitis, I have had 3 cortizone shots in my left hip over a period of a year. I have started ultrasound ES and it is helping tremendously. I had to stop after too weeks because I unfortunately had a reaction from icing my hip. What a set back, I started gaining alot of flexibility and the pain subsided for two weeks, I felt like a new person. I am starting again today. Has anyone else tried this method of treatment. Mary, I think you said you used Ruta Grav(if that is how it is spelled). Please reply and tell me if this is the correct spelling, etc. I am interested in trying this. I have been on Vioxx for over a year and I don't think it is helping much. Thanks.
