What helps me is doing some modified knee bends and putting all my weight on one slightly bent leg until the thigh muscles burn with lactic acid - hold 15-20 sec. I wish I knew the chemistry of muscles so I knew why this worked. Also,6 weeks ago, I started taking Evista (raloxifene) for my bones (instead of hormone replacement therapy...I'm 54) and my rls symptoms decreased by half to two-thirds!Praise God!I wonder what is in raloxifene that has that wonderful effect on muscles.Hope this helps somebody out there.
