I had a neurosurgeon today tell me that my 3-4 mm chiari was not at all considered a chiari malformation because it isn't greater than 5mm. He totally dismissed me and said you probably have a concussion. I have had debilitating headaches, neck, back pain since a car injury in May. I also have been tripping and dropping and breaking glasses. I have had multiple speech problems. And forgetting EVERYTHING. I am 32, a mom of 3 boys and an intensive care nurse. How many mm constitutes an ACM? Did anyone else feel like they were going crazy? None of the docotrs seem to think my symptoms are related to the ACM1.
