High Blood Pressurer

GinaLynn

Message 4 of 12 Previous Next

Hi there. A few years ago my husband had extremely high blood pressure that did not respond to several prescription medications. He also cut back on his salt and exercised, to no avail. I was scared to death! So I researched his problem on the internet and started him on 30mg of CoEnzyme Q10 twice daily. His doctor was amazed on his next visit and asked what he was doing. He told the doctor that I had put him on the CoQ10 and the doctor said "keep taking it". He still takes it and it keeps his blood pressure down. The real proof was that in 1999 I spent some time in the hospital and several weeks recuperating at home. I was too self-absorbed to make sure he took his CoQ10 and his blood pressure shot back up. After that, I insisted he take his own CoQ10 every morning with his other medications and not depend on me to give them to him. He has faithfully taken it since. The only contraindication I know of is that you don't want to take it if you are on a blood-thinning drug (like Coumadin) - it will counter its effects. Otherwise the only known reaction I have heard of is an upset stomach. Hope I could be of help. Any questions, feel free to contact me -GinaLynn
