Do you think that this was set off by the tonsil/adnoid operation - my daughter too started to gain after her operation a few years ago. 6 months ago she was tested for her insulin level & it too is way too high. She see's an endocrionologist in a couple days (finally). We've been told that if she is put on the medicine taken by diabetics, it will repair the problem & her excess weight will come off. We are hoping & praying this is true. My duaghter is 16 now & it is a very important time in her life. Please let me know what the outcome for your son was! Thank you!
