PATTY
I'VE BEEN ABLE TO CONTROL MY RLS FOR YEARS BY EXERCISING AND TAKING HOT TUBS. THIS PAST WEEK, NOTHING HELPS AND I'M LUCKY TO SLEEP AT ALL. SINCE DECEMBER I'VE BEEN ON HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY WHICH HAS CAUSED EXCESSIVE MENSTRAL BLEEDING. FOR TWO YEARS I'VE BEEN ON THYROID REPLACEMENT MEDICATION. THERE SEEMS TO BE A LINK BETWEEN RLS & IRON DEFICIENCY & ALSO BETWEEN RLS & THYROID PROBLEMS. ANY IDEAS? CAN'T SEEM TO GET MY DOCTOR INTERESTED. ALSO, I DON'T GET MUCH POTASSIUM IN MY DIET, BUT NEVER HAVE; SO WHY WOULD MY LEGS START GOING CRAZY ALL OF THE SUDDEN?
