Sharon, RLS can be caused by different factors. I had it so bad I went well over a week with no sleep at all. After all the testing and exams, it was believed that my body was lacking B12, from another problem, and I was actually suffering from peripheral neuropathy. The sheathing around the nerves was breaking down and in essence shorting out my legs. B12 shots corrected it. Later it returned and it turned out I was deficient in Pottasium and iron and had become anemic. I took the pottasium and iron supplements and drank lots of water and my body manufactured enough blood to know out the anemia, which also stopped the RLS. Have you ruled those items out? Sometimes basic care is sufficient. Hopefully that might be the case for you. Good luck.
