Have you tried 250 mgs of Magnesium before bedtime--that is if you can take extra minerals with your CHF? You might try a product such as Campho Phenique (salve or spray) which deadens the nerve endings next to the skin, temporarily. My husband has RLS and says when he wears his knee braces (uses because of an old knee injury) to bed, it tends to lessens RLS. Have you looked into accupressure? Also, if your legs are cold, you might try keeping your legs warm by wearing flannel PJ's or sweat pants.
