Our daughter Ebony had an enzyme deficiency and was anaemic but this condition also afected Ebonys muscles. She had exteme constipation and her paediatrician insisted it was due to her feeding problems and said there was nothing we could do tell we sorted out her feeding. She vomited constantly when we fed her and the experts thought it was due to her nasal tube which she was fed through(incorrectly inserted?). She died from respiratory failure when she got pneumonia caused by a lung infection most likely caused by her vomiting which is likely to be caused by extreme constipation. So even though the doctors thought her eating habits caused her constipation as a matter of fact her constipation as you would imagine affected her appetite and made her vomit. We went to another doctor shortly before we lost her and we we're told to try Duphalac(Australian), we had instant success but it was too late and our beautiful little girl spent about 10 of her 18 months uncomfortable and constipated let alone this being her down fall, thanks to her doctor. Try another doctor or maybe a naturopath.
