I never had a knee replacement, but I did have knee surgery and it seemed as if the pain was lasting forever. I finally went in for an acupunture appointment and within two weeks I was back to my old self again. If you know of any one in your area, you might give it a try. It worked for me! My husband has to have a knee replacement come October( he's 78) and when you mess with the knees-nothing hurts worse, so I will encourage him to try what I did to speed up his recovery...Good Luck to you..Mary
