Reactive airway disease vs. asthma

It sounds like an allergy problem and if you have animals, you may want to try removing them. There are so many things that can cause allergies and the reason I say it may be allergies is because of the runny nose along with the asthma. It could be pets, dust, foods or many other things. I know because I grew up with asthma and it wasn't until I was grown that I had allergy testing and discovered that if I stayed clear of the things I was tested positive for, I remained asthma free. You may even try using detergents, soap and shampoos that are free from dye's and perfumes. Even now sometimes I get a runny nose and start to breathe heavily and wheeze and I think I have a cold and then realize that I must be using something different and sure enough, I am and get rid of it and immediately get well. I hope this helps.
