I have an eight-month old son with achondroplasia, as well. I'm so glad that you're making the point to remember that people with dwarfism are just like anybody else, but shorter. Of course, I know there are some other things differing them, such as Michael's hydrocephalus was severe enough to need a shunt, but it's helped so much and he's developing so much more quickly without that pressure on his brain. Please e-mail me sometime if you have any words of wisdom since already having gone through the baby part of this! I do find it difficult trying to do anything with him as far as bouncers, swings, jumpers, exersaucers, etc. I don't want to make his kyphosis any worse, but I do need to accomplish dishes, laundry, cleaning and such. Any advice would be much appreciated. He doesn't like to floorplay on his mats for very long and that's completely my fault because Ive spoiled him to being held too much! We are members of the Little People of America and recently went to our Regional Conference in Cincinnatti, Ohio. Anyways, thanks again for any advice! -Megan
