Hi, I have had 4 episodes of herniated c3, c5, c4 within 20 years. They lasted from 2 years to 3 months. The firts lasted the longest because the treatment was not efficient. The last lasted 3 months. Stress makes it worst. I was treated with anti inflamatories, exercises and steroids. I am well now. I was told that I should only consider surgery if nothing else helped me, and I could not stand the pain any longer. I do not lift any thing heavy, do not bend over the sink and do not puch supermarket carts. Good luck!! Write me if you wish. patya-ki@home.com
