dear jordan, my husband has had 4 back surgeries & still has alot of pain. he is being sent to pain management to see if it helps. my daughter also had her back fused last month for the same thing & is doing great, the drs. said she be able to go back to work in about a month so it varies from person to person.wish i could be more help. linda
