I dont know if I can be of any help, but I have it too. It causes sterility or miscarriages. But as you know you can have children. I have 2 they were 13 years apart. My daughter has 4 children. My son passed away. I know that excessive hair on your face, legs arms is an aggrivating problem. From what I have read, you have a higher chance of heart disease, Higher tri-glycerides, a greater chance for the female cancer you mentioned. It can ever effect your bones. My little fingers are slightly twisted. The geneticist said it was a sign of th PCOS, but that was years ago. I am 57 and wast diagnosed 30 years ago while in a research center in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. I still am learning things. I have had 2 miscarriages. This is a problem that is caused by PCOS. I know at least 2 other women that has it. It came from my fathers side of the family. My grandmother was very much over weight. Had heart problems. She only had my dad. Her sister had it also. When I was in the research center, they also did a genetic study. Her sister had 2 children about 10-12 years apart. This was unusal because they lived in a time before birth control was available. I have been bothered with a mustache, very hairy legs and arms. a fine fuzz on my face. The hair on my face was bearly noticeable. As I reached menopause, the hair has thinned and finer on my legs and arm. Much like a normal amount. My moustache is finer and now very blond. I still have it waxed off. I have several long blonde hairs on my chin. My Manicurist has it too, and has a beard under her chin and very hairy arms. 2 of the women I knew at the research center had full beards. They had to shave every day. Dr Givens(head of the research) said that Bearded ladies in the fairs and circus'es were PCOS. Hope in my yattering I may have helped .
