Yes, I too have been diagnosed with this syndrome. My weight will jump up 10-20 kg within weeks. How do I handle this? Well, I find that eating right and working out just will not suffice ... it seems my body needs a frequent change in routine (especially my workout routine) to keep the weight down. Keeping simple sugars out of the diet is a MUST! The right birth control pill is also helpful with weight control, hair growth, pain and believe it or not, maintaining my blood sugar (reative hypoglycemic). Anyway, good luck with your weight loss and let me know if you found the right answer since I am currently on a plus 30kg problem right now having been off birth control pills for 6 months. Also, I'm looking for information as to whether or not irritable bowel syndrome, gall bladder and kidney problems are also linked to POS. It seems I am a medical mystery and my friends and family are starting to look at me as a major hypochondriac! Thanks!
