You could speak to a Speech Language Therapist about your daughter. It is difficult to respond to your questions without having met your daughter and not knowing much about her or her school situation. You said that she does talk at home alot. Here are a few questions that I have.... Are there other children or adults that she sees regularly that she does talk to? How does she communicate to you at home? Does she like school ? Do you think that school is a comfortable place for her? Is she naturally a shy little girl? Also when she does talk does she have any articulation problems that would make it difficult for her to be understood? that she is now attending kindergarten? I would think that most school districts have a support staff( including a Speech Pathologist) that could work with her and her teacher to help her develop better communication skills at school.
