Maternity Nurse
Talk to your doctor ASAP. You may have back pain as the pregnancy progresses. You will have an increased probablility of a C-Section. The pelvis needs to expand during labor, to allow for the baby to descend and be born. If your pelvis is unable to expand due to fusion, you may need a C-section. This is a small price to pay to get a healthy baby, and to not injure yourself during birth. Only your doctor can tell you if you could "possibly" deliver vaginally. He/she can measure your pelvis and give only an "educated guess". If you have had children before, your chances are better of delivering vaginally, but NO guarantees. Goodluck to you....and here's wishing you a blissful motherhood.
