Yes you can get oral herpes. I ended up with herpes myself when having nails done.I went to a derm and he confired it was indeed herpes. I also have a friends son who had the virus in his mouth she took him to doc and it was herpes although he did not have anymore out breaks. My own medical doc could not believe that I had herpes on my hand and ran another test only to find out it was herpes.
