Bill
Hi Helen I've had ST for about 30 years and was diagnosed about 5 years ago by a neurologist. Many years of chiropracty, physiotherapy, psychology, herbs, massage, acupuncture, anti-depressants, etc, hasn't worked. Only valium and alchohol seem to work consistently. Valerian has a small positive effect but makes me tired. I was taking Mersyndol (night strength) during the day as it was quite good also but again (obviously) made me feel very tired. Botox worked for the first injection but the next two did not seem to have any effect. My Botox injections were free (done at the Royal Adleaide Hospital) but I see you had to pay for yours(???). Maybe they are no longer free. My neurologist is Dr Kneebone of Melbourne Street in Adelaide. The people at his surgery might be able to advise on how to get Botox free. Send me an e-mail if you want some help. I am keen to find out about this Qigong thing you talk about - more Internet searching for me to do! Some people say that the reason we live is to learn. With ST we sure get to learn a lot! (The only positive thing I can think about it.) Best wishes Bill
