My Dad Has hd CLL&NHL for about9 years his remission stopped about 18 months ago. He is being treated with flourdabine ,riutuxin and some new drug that was developed out of MD Anderson center in Texas.He just completed his first round of treatment this week.He had developed lymphoma in the lungs and the lymph nodes were pressing against his diaphram.A 69 year old man with a lot of zest to live .He tells me that the breathing is a little better but has nausea and pain in his bones from treatment.Psychologically the battle started.No rare side effects but the change is difficult.The doctors feel strong about riutuxin.
