i was diagnosed with a very large mediastinal b cell tumor on 6-19-00. my oncologist is confident of a complete remission/cure if the tumor size and length of treatment do not affect outcome. there are so many types and stages of lymphoma i suggest that you find out as much as you can on the internet and rely on the oncologist to answer the rest of your questions. i am currently finishing my seventh round of CHOP chemo and if my gallium scan is negative i will start three or four weeks of radiation therapy. dont give up hope because b cell apparently is very treat- able/curable.wish your father good luck for me and be as supportive as you can.
