I also had endometreosis when I was about 27. To me, it was extremely and I mean extremely bad pain when I had my period but only at that time. I couldn't walk with the pain and one time while in the store had to hold onto the counter for fear I'd pass out from the pain. My option was to have a complete hysterectomy but at that time, that was the solution. The doc said he could clean me out as I had adhesions inside from the blood but it would take awhile in surgery or I coiuld do the complete hysterectomy. That was 34 years ago and I had had my family and really didn't care as long as the pain was gone. I'm now 60 and feel great, take hormone replacement and fine. Good luck.
