Yep... I had one last week while driving at night. I had to pull over for fear of having an accident. It lasted about 30 minutes, including the "spacy" feeling. It happened again today at work and I went to an opthalmologist. She described to me exactly what I saw and felt, and said it was ocular (or opthalmic) migraine. She said not to worry about it unless it occurs often in the future, and if so, my family doctor can treat it the same as any other migraine. By the way, I'm 53 years old.
