Hi! Vikki I like to say thank you for responding. My job was told of my injury, W/C is involved, but refuse to pay me, because the kind of doctor they suggest for me to see is a Chiropractor and I'v been going for at least 9 weeks now, now W/C state they did not authorize the type of treatment my chiropractor have given me, therefore I do not get paid for the 9 weeks I've been off from work. Now me and my family are homeless, and the chronic pain is still there. You see I work for the federal Goverment and there W/C is a little bit different and stricter then State. My W/C wants me to go to work and sit for 15 mins, stand for 15 mins for a total of 8 hours a night and not do anything. My new doctor said I can't do that, W/C nurse told me then I don't get pay. Her job is get me back on the payroll. As of Januray of 2001, my job say if you are not productive, you don't work. I am really stuck now. I've been there 13 years, my injury is due to a job they create for me, it was cause by repetitive motion in the neck. This is the thanks I guess I get. Sorry if I just ramble on, I'm just stress, and scared. I've been staying with my friend here for the past 2 weeks, but going to have to leave this weekend. I will be out again until something comes up. As far as finding an attorney there are very few that would do WC cases, and all the ones I found wants a couple hundred dollars up front, which I don't have. Thanks again.
