When I was in grammer school, I came home one day with the nasty critters. The old fashion way of disposing of them worked like a charm. My mom combed kerosene into my hair, left it on for a very short while and then washed it all out. You dont need much and keep away from the stove or any type of fire. She then used a fine tooth comb to comb hair over a piece of black paper to make sure all the eggs were removed. Never had them again.
