You need to allow your husband to understand the need for you to keep eating at the appropriate times. Find something that he needs/wants to do and ask him how he would feel if he couldn't or didn't get to do it, and how he would feel. When he replies, ask him how he would feel if you kept him from doing this and then he got sick. Maybe then he could understand why this is so important and how frustrating this is for you. I lived with a man (my first husband) who had no understanding what my problems were and he needed to be able to "feel" the discomfort and problems before he had any empathy for me. ALSO - My understanding is that people with hypoglycemia can later get diabetes (that is what I was told when I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia) - but there are alot of people who have Fibromyalgia (do you have a hard time sleeping?, do you have muscle aches and pains?) that had been diagnosed with hypoglycemia long before they found out they had Fibromyalgia - I would recommend looking into other possibilities if you are feeling worse, look at "Fibromyalgia and Chronic Myofacial Pain Syndrome" by Devin Starlanyl and/or her website which is very helpful in figuring out if you are experiencing these problems. You could have more than one thing going on at this time! :-( Feel free to email me at annie8908@aol.com if you have questions. Take care of yourself, Ann
