I recently was diagnosed with A/S. I also have frequent sinus infections and discovered that during treatment for the sinus infections with the antibiotic Augmentin, I felt better. My doctor wanted me to try Vioxx first to help with the inflamation, but I intend to persue the antibiotic therapy, too. I located one site at www.rheumatic.org that mentioned the life and work of Thomas Mcpherson Brown M.D. called "A Legacy of Health" on the treatment of inflammatory rheumatic disease with low dose antibiotic therapy.
