My husband has been diagnosed with Chronic Inflamatory Demyeliting Polyneurapathy. He does not have any feeling in his feet up to his calves. He can't even wiggle his toes. The Neurologist wanted to try Cytoxin with predisone by the Heart doctor said no. What happened was there was a protein"MAG" in my husband plasma. Itwas destroying the Myelin that was the installation on top of his nerves endings. He went through Plasma Exchange and this cleaned out the protein. But it may take a year before we see any results. He has trouble walking and getting up from a chair, he may lose his balance. Please let us know if your doctors know anything about this and what can be done. Good Luck Barb
