I had a kidney stone removed surgely by going up with a basket. Acatheter was inserted with a leg bag with the tube running ito the kidney, also a mucg larger bag located near the floor. The floor bag had bloody urine. The leg bag was clear urine at first unti it filled up App.100 cc capacity. Later 3 times the leg bag built up pressure and the urine backed up into the kidney with enough pressure to force the tube connections to leak and wet my bed. Then the leg bag urine looked boodyu and as dark as coffee. I have been having discomfort in my kidney since then. My question is should I stll have I go back and have this checked out.? Would the pressure that built up and back flushing of my kidney cause me future problems with that kidney? It really hurt when the pressure built up when the leg bag overfilled with urine and was forced back up into the kidney, and bloody urin was in the leg bag. W
