I was looking specifically for someone else whose child had anoxic brain injury from near drowning related to the diagnosis of Long QT syndrome. My daughter is 14 and had anoxic brain injury from near drowning related to the cardiac condition LQTS. She is still recovering from accident in August of 1999. She was in coma 1 day, in ICU for 1 week, and in rehab hospital for 6wks. She still has therapy several times a week and has many cognitive problems, as well as problems walking due to increased muscle tone from the neurological injury.
