My periods began to cease except for every three months and they were normal over the past year. Regular flow. This week I had blood test results and I just began menopause. I have been put on hormones, I never had the sweats, flashes, etc. I just turned 50 in June. I began My period in March of 1961. i feel better, I was waking up at 3:30 a.m. for about a year and watching Nick at Nite, now I can usually sleep thru the night. Good luck to you. My best, francine
