I've had Tinnitus for 17 years now; its worse in my left ear . Mine was caused by a head -on collision with another vehicle and a subsequent brain injury. It doesn't bother me un- less I'm in a quiet room and then its all I can hear. I set the sleep timer on my T.V. at night , otherwise I'd never get to sleep. One Dr. said I could have blockages in the tiny vessels leading to the ear. But I'm more inclined to believe its from the accident, because I didn't have it be fore the accident. There are sound machines you can buy that are sup- posed to mask the Tinnitus, but the T.V. works fine for me.
