I am a Registered Nurse working with Patients with kidney failure. One of the main causes of kidney failure is high blood pressure. I am trying to let people know this because I am forever getting patients who say they did not know. High blood pressure is a serious health condition. It can also cause many other problems for the body. Heart damage is just one of these problems. Please, if you find you have, or think you have hypertension, seek medical help. Prevention of kidney disease or heart disease is better than the consequences! Just ask a person who has to have dialysis every other day.
